GAME SUBMISSION POLICY

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. Our publishing submissions

We welcome proposals from independent developers seeking development funding and publishing support for games with depth, originality and a clear creative vision. This policy explains how to prepare a proposal and what submitting it does — and does not — mean.

2. Who may submit

You must be an adult with legal capacity to enter a contract, or an authorised representative of the studio or rights holder. You must have permission from your team and any other relevant owners to share the project and its materials. Please disclose any existing publishing commitments, funding obligations or rights restrictions that could affect a partnership.

3. What to include

Please provide your contact details, location, game title, estimated release date, a brief game description and a link to gameplay footage, a pitch deck or a Steam page.

You may also tell us about your studio and the support you are seeking. If seeking funding, please include the approximate amount and currency where possible.

Additional information about your team, genre, target audience, intended platforms, development stage, budget or roadmap is welcome but not required for an initial submission. A playable build or demo is optional; if provided, include installation instructions and access details.

Do not include player data, unnecessary personal information or third-party confidential material.

4. How to submit safely

Submit your proposal through our Submit Your Game form or email your pitch to contact@nightsight.games. This policy applies to submissions made through either route.

Share accessible links rather than large unsolicited attachments. If providing a build, ensure it is safe to download and run, and identify any access passwords, expiry dates, hardware requirements or known technical issues. Do not include payment details, production credentials or other sensitive security information.

5. Ownership and evaluation permission

You retain ownership of your game and all associated intellectual property.

By submitting materials, you grant Nightsight a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to receive, store, reproduce and review those materials solely for the purpose of evaluating a potential financing, publishing or commercial relationship.

We may share submitted materials with our personnel, professional advisers and potential financing or commercial partners where reasonably necessary for that evaluation, subject to appropriate confidentiality arrangements where warranted.

We will not publish, distribute or commercially exploit your submitted game or materials without your separate written permission.

6. Confidentiality

Initial submissions should contain only information that you are comfortable sharing for preliminary evaluation without a confidentiality agreement.

Submitting materials does not automatically establish a confidential relationship or create a non-disclosure agreement. However, we will handle submissions responsibly and limit access to those reasonably involved in evaluating the opportunity.

If further evaluation requires access to confidential technical, financial or commercially sensitive information, the parties may agree appropriate confidentiality arrangements in writing before those materials are disclosed.

Please do not submit trade secrets, source code or other highly sensitive information unless suitable protections have been agreed in advance.

7. Review and independent development

We review submissions at our discretion and cannot guarantee a response, detailed feedback or a particular review timeframe.

Nightsight may already be evaluating, financing or working on projects involving similar ideas, themes, mechanics or concepts. Submission of a proposal does not grant exclusivity or prevent Nightsight from independently developing, evaluating or supporting similar projects.

Nothing in this policy permits Nightsight to copy or misuse your protected intellectual property or breach any applicable confidentiality obligations.

8. No promise of funding or agreement

Submitting a game does not guarantee funding, publishing, distribution, marketing support, a meeting or compensation for review. You are responsible for your submission costs. A partnership begins only when the relevant parties sign a separate written agreement setting out rights, responsibilities and commercial terms.

9. Personal information, withdrawal and questions

Personal information included in submissions is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You may withdraw your proposal from further consideration at any time by contacting us through the publishing contact listed on our website. Upon withdrawal, we will cease evaluating the proposal and take reasonable steps to delete submitted materials, except where retention is reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, contractual or dispute-resolution purposes.

Requests concerning personal information, including access, correction or deletion, will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

If a publishing or financing agreement is signed, the terms of that agreement will prevail to the extent of any inconsistency with this policy.
